Recently, the European Union's preliminary anti-dumping ruling on China's polyethylene terephthalate has caused heated discussions in the industry. According to an announcement issued by the European Commission, the preliminary ruling will impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of 6.6% to 24.2% on the products involved. The measures will be implemented as of the announcement. It will take effect on the date and be valid for 6 months. It is reported that this move is to protect EU companies and more than 1,500 jobs.
