The 70-80 micron thick printable white PVC film is a preferred material for SPC wall panel surface finishes.  With its precise thickness control, excellent printability, and stable physical properties, it has become a core consumable in the building materials and decoration industry. The film is made from polyvinyl chloride resin as the base material, supplemented with plasticizers, reinforcing agents, and other components. It is manufactured through processes such as cross-linking modification, gradient plasticization, and four-roll calendering. During production, the gel content is controlled at 15%-20% through a cross-linking reaction at 80-120℃, combined with a three-stage plasticization process at 150-185℃ and precise roller temperature gradient control. This effectively reduces plasticizer migration, preventing the film from becoming brittle and hard after long-term use, while also improving low-temperature toughness and adapting to different climate environments.


Printability is its core advantage. After special surface treatment, it is compatible with various processes such as digital printing and screen printing. The white base accurately displays decorative patterns such as wood grain and stone patterns, with vibrant colors and clear lines, meeting the personalized surface finish needs of SPC wall panels. According to industry standards, its surface color is uniform, without obvious bubbles or impurities, and the number of 0.3-0.8mm impurities per square meter does not exceed 25, ensuring visual integrity after printing.


In terms of physical properties, the film has a longitudinal tensile strength of ≥30MPa and a transverse tensile strength of ≥25MPa. It has good wear resistance; under a 1.0N load, there are no large areas of continuous scratches, allowing it to withstand friction and minor impacts during SPC wall panel installation and use. It also possesses excellent water and UV resistance, low heat loss rate, and small dimensional change rate.  It shows no cracks or blistering after cold and hot cycle testing, making it suitable for indoor environments with humidity and sunlight.


As a surface finish for SPC wall panels, its environmental indicators comply with standards such as RoHS, and the limits of harmful substances meet the requirements, ensuring indoor environmental safety. Currently widely used in home and commercial spaces, SPC wall panels balance decorative effect, service life, and environmental protection requirements, becoming a mainstream choice for building surface materials.

When selecting and purchasing, the following key points should be focused on to ensure that the film material is suitable for SPC wall panel production and use. First, check the thickness consistency; the 70-80 micron range needs to be precisely controlled, and the thickness deviation of the same batch of film material should be ≤3 microns to avoid bubbles and wrinkles after lamination due to uneven thickness, which would affect the flatness of the wall panel surface. Secondly, verify the printability; samples can be requested for trial printing tests to confirm the surface treatment effect of the film, ensuring strong adhesion of the printed pattern, no smudging, and adequate opacity of the white base to prevent the SPC substrate color from showing through.

Performance indicators should not be overlooked.  It is crucial to confirm that core indicators such as tensile strength, wear resistance, and thermal cycling resistance meet the standards to extend the service life of the wall panels.
