Reducing plastic waste at the source, this product is suitable for continuous production of rolls for food blister packaging, balancing environmental and economical efficiency and suiting large-scale applications.

PET packaging's "transparency and environmental responsibility": High-transparency recyclable PET thermoformed sheet and food-grade RPET rolls are the optimal solutions for blister packaging.

When you pick up a blister-packed box of strawberries at the supermarket or unwrap a baked snack on a transparent tray, have you ever wondered: Can these packaging, which clearly displays the food's appearance, be both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly? The answer lies in two key materials: high-transparency recyclable PET thermoformed sheet and food-grade RPET rolls. With their triple advantages of high transparency, recyclability, and compatibility with blister processing, these materials are becoming the new mainstream in food blister packaging, satisfying consumers' visual desire for food freshness while aligning with the industry's trend toward plastic reduction and environmental protection.

RPET rolls are inherently recycled. Every ton of RPET rolls used reduces the use of approximately 1.6 tons of virgin plastic and approximately 6.5 tons of CO2 emissions (data source: China Plastics Processing Industry Association). It also reduces environmental pollution from discarded PET bottles (such as marine plastic waste).

Virgin PET and RPET—the former is the base material for highly transparent, recyclable PET thermoforming sheets, while the latter is the core of food-grade RPET rolls. Both focus on recyclability and food safety, but with slightly different starting points, they both achieve the same goal of being suitable for food blister packaging.

Core Advantage 2: Compatibility with the blister process, seamlessly transitioning from flat to three-dimensional.

The core of blister packaging is to transform flat materials into three-dimensional trays/boxes. This requires excellent thermoforming properties—uniform stretching upon heating and stable shaping upon cooling. These two PET materials are ideal partners for the blister process.

1. Excellent thermoforming properties, capable of holding even complex shapes. PET material has a moderate heat deformation temperature (approximately 70-95°C), good melt flowability after heating, and stable tensile properties.

Deep drawing without cracking: RPET can be easily processed into deep-cavity blister boxes (such as fruit blister boxes over 5cm high), special-shaped blister trays (such as snack trays with dividers), and thin-walled blister packaging (such as biscuit blister trays under 0.2mm thick). The stretching process eliminates issues such as localized thinning or cracking, resulting in a molding yield rate exceeding 98%.

High shaping accuracy: The shape remains stable after cooling, preventing shrinkage. The dimensional tolerance of blister trays can be controlled within ±0.1mm. For example, custom blister slots for mooncakes perfectly fit the shape of the mooncake, preventing them from shaking or deforming during transportation.

Roll/sheet compatibility with various production lines: RPET is mostly available in roll form, compatible with continuous blister machines (suitable for large-scale production, such as those processing 100 per minute). biscuit trays); virgin PET is mostly in sheet form and can be adapted for intermittent blister machines (suitable for small-batch, customized production, such as high-end cake blister boxes), meeting the production needs of various companies.

With rising consumer awareness of environmental protection and global efforts to combat plastic pollution, the use of recycled PET in food blister packaging will become increasingly widespread. While upgraded products such as "higher-transparency RPET" and "biodegradable PET" may emerge in the future, the core principle remains the same: meeting food safety and aesthetic requirements while enabling plastic recycling. For companies, choosing this type of material is not just about choosing a packaging solution; it's about choosing a brand that aligns with contemporary trends.
