Material Composition and Characteristics
PVC (polyvinyl chloride): Features high strength, good toughness, excellent gas barrier properties, and excellent chemical stability, effectively protecting suppositories from external gases, moisture, and other factors. However, PVC has poor heat resistance, and its residual vinyl chloride monomer is somewhat toxic. Therefore, the monomer content must be strictly controlled within the specified range during production.
PE (polyethylene): Features excellent low-temperature resistance, high liquid barrier properties, and good heat-sealing properties. The material is flexible and resists brittleness. Its torsion and melting temperatures increase, while its permeability decreases. It also offers excellent heat and cold resistance. However, PE is permeable to oxygen and has poor adhesion to polar inks, resulting in poor printability. Surface treatment is generally required.

Applications: Widely used for packaging various suppositories, including gynecological suppositories such as clotrimazole suppositories and diazepam suppositories, as well as suppositories for the treatment of hemorrhoids, such as Xiaozhi suppositories.
