PP plastic (polypropylene) is another of the most used materials in the manufacture of thermoformed trays, mainly due to its greater resistance both mechanically and at high temperatures.
This allows polypropylene packaging and trays to be suitable for the food preservation processes such as pasteurization, sterilization and/or autoclaving, in addition to also being focused on microwave use.
