Transparent RPET food-grade thermoforming coils can be coated with silicone oil to achieve anti-adhesion. The following is a related introduction:

Silicone oil anti-adhesion principle: Silicone oil is polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), which has the characteristics of low surface energy, thermal stability and chemical inertness. Applying it on the surface of RPET coils can reduce surface adhesion, making the coils easier to separate from other materials, while increasing surface smoothness and reducing friction, thereby playing an anti-adhesion role.

Application method:

Direct coating: Silicone oil is evenly applied to one or both sides of the RPET coil by roller coating, spraying, etc. The operation is relatively simple, and the coating thickness can be controlled according to needs.

Immersion method: The RPET coil is immersed in a solution containing silicone oil, and then dried to form an anti-adhesion layer. This method can make the silicone oil penetrate into the surface of the coil more evenly, and the anti-adhesion effect is more stable.

Transfer coating: first apply silicone oil on another layer of easy-to-peel material, and then laminate this layer with the RPET coil. The anti-sticking layer can be easily removed during use, which is suitable for situations where the surface quality of the coil is required to be high.

Optimize production process

Control drying conditions: RPET raw materials need to be fully dried before processing, and the moisture content is controlled at an extremely low level. Generally, the moisture content is required to be less than 0.005% to avoid hydrolysis degradation and reduced characteristic adhesion caused by moisture.

Adjust processing temperature and pressure: Accurately control the temperature and pressure parameters during processing such as extrusion and thermoforming to avoid excessive temperature causing RPET coils to soften and stick, or excessive pressure causing the coils to fit tightly and be difficult to separate.

Structural design

Adopt multi-layer composite structure: Design A/B/A structure coils, add high concentrations of lubricants or anti-adhesive agents to the middle layer (B layer), and keep the surface layer (A layer) clean, so as to ensure that the inside of the coil has good anti-adhesion properties and maintain the transparency and smoothness of the surface.
